Weight Management

Jiu Jitsu is a great activity for adults looking to lose weight. We provide students an upbeat, high-intensity training that will push them to work hard. Instead of walking on a treadmill or going for a run, Jiu Jitsu can allow you to shed the pounds while having fun in a supportive community! We have testimonials of students who have lost 60 lbs just by being consistent. You do NOT need to be “in-shape” to start BJJ.

Self-Defense

We make sure all our students learn the necessary skills to defend themselves. As well as the different holds, grips, and techniques students learn, the physical strength and endurance they gain will go hand-in-hand with their self-defense. You will be able to feel confident in your ability to defend yourself in real-life situations.

Perseverance

While this class is fun and lively, you will be put to the test. Students are challenged to work hard and push through challenges they may come across early in the process. By charging ahead and staying committed to the process, you’ll become a better athlete and person!
